Targeted towards “Innovation, Capital and Internationalization,” Peakview Capital created the Global Innovation Awards (GIA) to honor global startups in China, the United States, Israel, Europe and Latin America.

The Global Innovation Awards (GIA) celebrates global entrepreneurship and to support innovative startups. While connecting more than 100 top global innovation incubators, accelerators and VCs, GIA aims to discover, cultivate and invest in the top startups, taking full advantage of China’s capital markets to build an ecosystem under the principle of “Global Innovation, Global Capital.”

The top global winners will receive a $1.5M cash award (no equity required).

  • June-August: Applications are reviewed

  • August: Finalists will arrive in Beijing for GIA


The top 21 global winners will present their businesses at the Global Innovation Awards Finals in Beijing, China. Top winners will receive cash awards up to $1.5 million dollars, and all winners will receive investment from Peakview as well as national exposure to investors and the largest growth companies in China.

The Global Innovation Awards is a testament to China’s growing role in venture investing and capital support for companies seeking a global presence. It was initiated by Shengjing Group, and co-sponsored by Zhongguancun Innovation in Enterprise Development Promotion Association, Shengjing Jiacheng FOF, F50, Deutsche Telekom, and JVP with its strategic partners Tsinghua Holdings, Zhongguancun Development Group, Zhongguancun VC Development Center, Etown Capital and Zhongguancun InnoWay.
