The F50 Team welcomes VOKE VR to the F50 Ventures portfolio. VOKE VR is a virtual reality technology company that specializes in live streams of sports and music events.

The Series A round was led by Intel Capital, the investment arm of the tech giant Intel. The global entertainment and media company A&E Networks, Cowles Company, Shah Capital, and Nautilus Venture Partners also participated, along with the Sacramento Kings NBA team, which first announced its role as an investor and strategic partner in Voke last fall.

Voke’s media platform utilizes a synchronized, multiple point-of-view, stereoscopic panoramic camera system that allows fans to be immersed in live events, as well as access multiple seat locations. Fans are able to easily switch between multiple time-synced vantage points at live events to ensure the best seat in the house. With its shareable social media and instant replay capabilities, Voke’s platform becomes the most versatile and usable VR solution available for real-time events on the market.

Their successful pilot programs include events for Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Sacramento Kings NBA Opening Night.

“Voke VR is at the forefront of live-action virtual reality and we are excited to add them to our growing list of portfolio companies,” says David Cao, Founder & CEO of F50 and F50 Ventures.
