I handle clients and contracts in agriculture, food, consumer products, finance, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and technology. I know my way around factories, fields, warehouses, labs, software, contracts, term sheets, investors, & board rooms.
Right now, I’m focused on seed and produce companies and pharmaceutical biotech contracts. I’ve spent 5 years working with companies on capital, corporate, and related intellectual property transactions, first as a lawyer and then as an investment banker. I’ve worked with companies at every stage: pre-revenue startup, middle market growth, and public.
I’ve helped sensors, software, and blockchain technologies enter the food supply chain at production, transportation, and retail. I’ve also worked with consumer product and CPG companies as they scale. I started my career in agriculture, growing flowers at a premium Midwestern wholesale nursery.
I speak and teach on agriculture, technology, and investment trends. I teach for a top 25 U.S. News & World Report Evening MBA program, and I have presented over 30 times to private and corporate venture funds, international cooperatives, global incubators and accelerators, university collaborations, trade organizations, & government agencies.
