Articulate, exceptionally driven scientific researcher conducting innovative research focused on vascular mechanobiology. Competitive and collaborative, possess demonstrated ability to develop research collaborations with thought leaders. Ongoing collaborations include research groups in USA, Canada, Sweden and Australia.
Current research is focused on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), with a 4 pronged approach:
1. Investigating the mechanistic aspects of CFS.
2. Development of microfluidic diagnostic platforms.
3. Exploring treatment options for CFS, with a hematological emphasis.
4. Extending the platform(s) for examining other diseases with similar biomechanical basis, such as Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), among others.
